A Border Security Force jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at the Raj Bhavan in Srinagar on Tuesday.
Constable Ravi Ranjan Kumar of 97th battalion, posted at Raj Bhavan, shot himself in the neck with his service rifle, official sources said.
Kumar hailed from Bihar, sources said, adding they were yet to ascertain the motive behind the jawan taking the extreme step.
