The Border Security Force troops shot dead a Pakistani infiltrator along the International Border in R S Pura sub-sector of Jammu district on Sunday.
During patrolling, BSF troops of 110th battalion observed some movement near the border fencing area in Chawani border out post, 40 km from here, around 2.45 am, a senior BSF officer said. Troops fired at them, killing a Pakistani intruder.
The infiltrators had also thrown a packet into this side, which is being checked.
