A Jet Airways Mumbai-Doha flight had a bomb scare on Monday night just a few minutes before the airplane's departure, officials said.
There was no threat to the plane but its departure was delayed by a couple of hours, they said.
"An anonymous note, sighting a non-specific security threat was found by a guest aboard the Jet Airways flight 9W 552 from Mumbai to Doha, just minutes prior to the departure of the flight at 8.25 PM," a Jet Airways spokesperson said.
The aircraft was brought back to the parking bay and all the guests were deplaned safely following which a thorough inspection of the flight was conducted by the Central Industrial Security Force and Mumbai Airports Authority, the spokesperson said.
