According to the poll, Arvind Kejriwal of the AAP seems to be the most preferred candidate with 43 per cent for the position of chief minister of Delhi, followed by the BJP’s Harsh Vardhan.
The poll says that a majority (74 per pent) of the respondents feel that performance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP's government has been 'good/very good' with a high mean score of 4.
As per the opinion poll, Modi is the most popular leader in Delhi with 58 per cent of the respondents saying so. Thierty-three per cent respondents are for Kejriwal and about 7 per cent for Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi.As per the opinion poll, inflation, sanitation, drinking water and unemployment are the more important issues being faced by the people. Sanitation is a bigger issue in urban areas, whereas law and order and transport problems matter more in rural areas.
According to the poll, about a third of the respondents feel the controversial comment made by Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti would have no impact on the BJP, while another third of the respondents feel that this statement. A majority (72 per cent) of respondents condemn the statement made by Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti. Even those intending to vote for the BJP (69 per cent) condemn her statement.
