President A P J Abdul Kalam on Friday accepted the resignation of Bihar Governor Buta Singh in the wake of the Supreme Court verdict indicting him for dissolution of the state assembly last year.
West Bengal Governor Gopal Gandhi has been given additional charge of Bihar, Rashtrapati Bhawan sources said.
