Two school children were abducted in Bihar's Begusarai district on Thursday. Both were sons of a businessman and were abducted on their way to school.
According to police sources, both the abducted children are students of DAV school in Begusarai.
Police has launched an operation to recover the abducted school children.
The Patna High Court on Monday ordered Bihar government t
o search for 143 missing children, mostly abducted in the last five years. The court also asked the government to submit a report in this connection within six weeks. The court took exception to reports that 44 of abducted children were killed in the state.
According to the state government affidavit submitted in the court, a total of 1076 children were abducted in the state since 2001.
