The police on Saturday arrested four members of an extremist organisation opposed to exiled Tibetan leader Dalai Lama at Bodh Gaya in Bihar.
Police sources said the four, comprising one Tibetan and three others of Nepali origin, are suspected to have links with 'Shugden', an extremist organisation of Tibetan Lamas opposed to the Dalai Lama.
The Gaya police had received notification from the security department of the Tibetan government in exile headed by the Dalai Lama, about dubious activities of the four suspects around the Kalchakra Puja venue. They are now being interrogated about their movements near the venue.
Bodh Gaya has been put under a heavy security blanket following intelligence reports of threats to the Dalai Lama and the Karmappa.
Dalai Lama is leading the nine-day long Kalchakra Puja amid tight security, police official said.
