Home Secretary Prasad Ranjan Roy said on Friday, the BSF were asked to keep strict vigil against possible infiltration from across the border under the situation prevailing in Bangladesh.
The police were also patrolling border villages, he said. Indo-Bangla border trade was, however, more or less normal, he added.
