An Indonesian court on Thursday sentenced to death an accused in the Bali bombings case.
Ali Ghufron, alias Mukhlas, was found guilty of coordinating the attacks, chairing planning meetings and possessing explosives.
Mukhlas had admitted to judges he was the operations chief of terrorist group Jemaah Islamiyah and that he had met Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden.
Two others, including Mukhlas's brother Amrozi bin Nurhasyim, have also been death penalty; a third was given a lifer.
Over a dozen others have received jail terms ranging from seven to 16 years for their part in the bombings, which killed 202 people.
