Unable to bear the pain of his daughter's death, an armyman on Tuesday ended his life by throwing himself in front of a running train in Agra.
Police said Anil had fixed his elder daughter Neelam's marriage and was engaged in the preparations.
On Monday night he had an heated argument with his wife and fired at her in a fit. However, Neelam came in between and succumbed on the spot, the police added.
Anil was devastated with the death of his daughter and committed sucide.
