The army on Wednesday decided to initiate disciplinary proceedings against Colonel K D Singh in connection with the fake killings in the Siachen glacier.
The Summary of Evidence against Col Singh would commence soon, a Defence spokesman said in New Delhi.
He said the action was being taken as a consequence of the establishment of some facts during the Court Martial proceedings against Major Surinder Singh, who has been dismissed from service.
