The Army on Sunday foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir, killing six terrorists.
Troops noticed suspicious movement along the LoC in Keran sector in Kupwara district of north Kashmir and challenged the infiltrators, an Army official said in Srinagar.
He said six terrorists were killed in the ensuing gunfight.
Search operations were continuing the area, the official said.
