Seven years after the Mulund bomb blast, one more person suspected to be involved in triggering the explosion was arrested in Mumbai, Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad sources said on Monday.
The accused identified as Wazahul Qamar Murtuza was arrested on Sunday and produced before a local court on Monday which remanded him in police custody till May 19, they said.
16 people were killed and a few others injured in the blast which occurred in the compartment of a local train at Mulund railway station on March 13, 2003.
Over eight persons including Saquib Nachan, suspected to be an activist of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India, have been arrested in the case since the incident.
