The core group of Anna Hazare's team would discuss invitations to Kashmir and Manipur during its meeting on September 10 and 11 at Anna's village Ralegan Siddhi. This was disclosed by social activist and member of Team Anna, Arvind Kejriwal, at a press conference held at Gandhi Peace Foundation in New Delhi on Friday.
Team Anna had received invitations from Manipur civil rights and political activist Irom Sharmila, who has been on fast for more then seven years demanding the repeal of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act. Kashmiri leaders too have invited Anna Hazare to help in identifying 2500 unidentified bodies found in three districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
So far Anna Hazare has refused to comment on the invitations.
"We have requested Anna Hazareji to come to Srinagar and help in identifying the bodies by getting the DNA tests on them," Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, chairman of All Party Hurriyat Conference, told rediff.com.
