The people will rule in a democracy, and that is what made the government give up the restrictions it had imposed for allowing Hazare to hold his indefinite fast in Delhi.
It's a clear victory of the people that the government has now allowed Hazare to protest at Ramleela ground and has not put any unreasonable restrictions. The Delhi police has now given permission to protest for 15 days.
The ground is now being prepared for the protest that begins on Friday and are on full swing. Hazare's aide Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday informed Hazare about the conditions of the Ramleela ground, after which he decided to leave from Tihar on Friday.
This is the third day of his indefinite fast.
There were some news about Hazare's health that raised concerns, we wish to clarify that Anna is fine. On Wednesday, a team of G B Pant hospital came for his check up, but he refused to be examined by government doctors.
He asked for Dr Naresh Trehan, who did the check up and informed that Hazare is fine.
Meanwhile people continue to come out in Hazare's support of Anna. The Delhi Medical Association on Thursday organised a press conference to announce its support for the fight against corruption.
Around 10,000 members of Maruti Udyog Kamgar Union also expressed their support. All markets in the Kashmere gate and More Gate area remained closed to protest the police action aganist Hazare.
In Mumbai, a huge crowd gathered at Azad Maidan, where the Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs team was also present to express their support.
The little singers were accompanied by their mentor Kailash Kher. Thousands of people participated in a rally that was organised at Churchgate and VT stations.
Hundreds participated in a candle march that took place in Goregaon west. The dabbawalas of Mumbai have decided to break their over a 120-year old tradition to express their support for Anna.
