Sonia heard the governor, and thanked him for his analysis on Telangana, and the possible packages to the region.

The source said that in all probability, justice will be rendered to the Telangana region. Sonia asked searching questions with leaders who are meeting her on the Telangana issue.

These articulated points shall be presented at the all-party meeting likely to be convened by Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde in mid-October.

Informed sources confirmed that there shall be a solution rendering equality to all the regions in the state. Indications are that in the next fortnight there shall be 'happy news' from the Union government and the UPA-II to the people of Andhra Pradesh

Narasimhan also spent half and hour with Vice President Hamid Ansari and briefed him about Andhra Pradesh.

Narasimhan is likely to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Finance Minister P Chidambaram, the home minister and Defence Minister AK Antony on Friday, before his return.
