A 20-year-old airhostess died on Tuesday when she was thrown off during an adventure ride inside an amusement park on the outskirts of Chennai. Three persons have been arrested in this connection, police said.
Facility Manager Raghu, Machine Operator Williams and helper Ashok have been arrested, police said.
The victim, working as an airhostess in a private airline and a native of Nagaland, suffered head injuries when she was thrown off while taking a ride on 'Octopus Ride,' (a machine in which cars attached to five to eight arms pinned to a central axis spin and move up and down in random),police said.
She was pronounced dead at a nearby private hospital where she was rushed, sources said.
The cause of death is being probed.
