Telangana will be discussed at a 'secret' conclave of the All India Congress Committee in Surajkund on November 9, according to a top source in the AICC.
"Madam (Congress president Sonia Gandhi) wants this subject to be deliberated, but decision will have to be taken after the all party meeting, which is to be convened by Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde in early January next year.
The source adds that the Surajkund meeting will not be open to the media. "It is an internal crucial policy. Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will be present in the afternoon session. The Congress president will give the final word at 5.30 pm on November 9, which will be made available to the media.
