Unprovoked firing in Manipur, 2 soldiers injured

In Manipur which has been burning for over 50 days, two soldiers sustained minor injuries after armed miscreants resorted to unprovoked firing in N Boljang, Imphal West in the morning hours today. Both the soldiers are stable. One INSAS light machine gun was recovered during the initial search, the Indian Army said. 

Leaders of 10 opposition parties led by the Congress, on Tuesday, accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of ignoring the people of the north eastern state and not even meeting the opposition leaders before leaving for his US visit.
