Modi govt mulling changing Governors of 5 states

Zee News reports: The Narendra Modi-led NDA government is contemplating to replace Governors appointed by the previous Congress-led UPA government, reports said on Tuesday. 

Reports say that the newly-formed government is mulling changing the Governors in Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and West Bengal.
 
At present, former Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit, BL Joshi, Ram Naresh Yadav, MK Narayanan and Shivraj Patil are Governors of Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, and Punjab respectively. 

The Prime Ministers Office has reportedly sought details of the tenures of at least eight Governors who are due to retire by the year-end.
