Outside Parliament, MPs from Left parties stage demonstrations against price rise, disinvestment of shares of public sector units etc., near the Gandhi statue in front of Parliament.

Pro-Telangana Congress MPs blocked  entry for other MPs at the Parliament entrance and staged a sit-in dharna seeking a separate Telangana state. MPs present include Ponnam Prabhakar, Dr G Vivekananad, Rajaiah Siricilla, Mandha Jagannath, Gutha Sukanthar Reddy.
