As her father, former Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi was flying into Delhi to meet her, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam's Rajya Sabha member Kanimozhi on Monday approached the Delhi high court seeking bail in the 2G spectrum scam case.
Kanimozhi and the MD of Kalaignar TV, Sharad Kumar, were on Friday sent to Tihar jail after the court refused to show any leniency to her on the basis of her gender, as argued by her counsel Ram Jethmalani.
