Zahid Saroori was arrested from the Saroori locality on Thursday evening following disclosures by HM's self styled commander Wasim Malik, who was earlier arrested from Kishtwar on January 15, police sources said.
Malik masterminded the blasts along with some other Pakistani militants led by one commander Ifran, in which 60 others were injured and the then governor general K V Krishna Rao had a narrow escape.
During his interrogation, Malik had disclosed that he and Saroori had handed over the consignment of explosive devices near the Tawi river to Irfan and Ghulam Nabi, both Pakistani militants.
The sources also said that police assisted by intelligence sleuths, had also raided another house in Kishtwar to pick another accused on Friday in connection with the blasts.
