Nine persons were killed and 13 others wounded, when a passenger bus rolled down to a deep gorge in the hilly Doda district of Jammu on Saturday.
Police said the bus was on its way from Thatri to Gandoh town, when the driver lost control of bus, which rolled down into the deep gorge.
"Rescue and relief operations were launched immediately, and the injured were taken to the sub-district hospital at Doda. Some of the critically wounded persons have been airlifted to Jammu for special treatment," a senior police officer said.
