Raj visits Thackeray at hospital

February 27, 2009 19:37 IST

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray today visited Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai to see uncle Bal Thackeray, undergoing treatment there since yesterday.

Raj, who was in the vicinity of the hospital for a scheduled function, visited the hospital along with son, party sources said.

The last time Raj met his 82-year old uncle after forming MNS in 2006 was in December last year, 'to return a few cartoon books and some old things.'

"His health condition is good...he would be discharged in a day or two," Raj said.

Senior Sena leader Manohar Joshi, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Assembly Ramdas Kadam and BJP state unit president Nitin Gadkari also visited the hospital.
