Accusing the United Progressive Alliance government of speaking in contradictory voices on Pakistan's response to the dossier given by India on the Mumbai terror attacks, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday said it "enabled Pakistan to mount international pressure" on New Delhi.
"The External Affairs Minister and the National Security Advisor were speaking in contradictory terms which give a
wrong signal and enables Pakistan to mount international pressure on India," Bharatiya Janata Party spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
Prasad was referring to a statement by NSA M K Narayanan that that Pakistan had reverted to India by posing two queries on the Indian dossier on the terror strikes, a comment that directly contradicts the stand taken by External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee
