For some, the serial bomb blasts in Delhi seems to be a perfect way of trying to mint money and gain cheap publicity.

As reporters scurry around for relatives of blasts victims, many have come forward with false claims to say that their kith and kin have been killed or severely injured hoping to get a share of the compensation.

Some can be later seen smiling minutes after yelling and beating their chests in front of the cameras.

In Karol Bagh, Beadonpura one of the serial blast sites, a group of men and women including children are huddled together on the pavements ready to give TV sound bytes.

Though on Sunday, some members had claimed that they were one big extended family staying together with seven of their family tragically killed in the blast, surprisingly on Monday, the number of deceased family members climbed to 12.

"On Sunday we lost seven. Today four more have died," said Jeevan Ram along with a lady who spoke the most.

On continued discussion, it was later found out that the seven killed were not from one family but from four different families and the entire group actually belonged to a common Rajasthani village and community -- Nadibadh Samaj.

The group later said most of those present had come from Punjab, West Bengal and Haryana after getting to know about the blasts.

"Our 12 people died here and the government is doing nothing. We have been supporters of the government, but we are not being helped. Temporary relief should be immediately given to the victim's family along with pucca houses," said a visibly agitated Dashrath from Haryana who had come to Delhi on Saunday.

When contacted, hospital authorities said that no blasts victims had died on Monday.
