Chanchal Kumar, a student of Mass Communication was one such example. He was heading towards his home in Noida after partying at a pub at Connaught Place area when the incident took place. He, along with his friend, was moving towards the Connaught Place outer circle when they heard a loud bang.

"The intensity was such that I could hear it even when my music system in the car was in full volume. Such loud sound was enough to tell that it was a bomb blast," he said.
