In a sudden move former external affairs minister K Natwar Singh's legislator son Jagat Singh on Monday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Singh joined the party at Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's residence in Jaipur. Chief Minister Raje, BJP state president Om Prakash Mathur, and several BJP leaders and Singh's supporters were present on the occasion.
A sitting legislator from Laxmangarh in Alwar district, Singh was expelled from the Congress in the aftermath of the
oil for food scam allegedly involving his father about
two years ago.
