More arrests are likely in the sensational killings of teenager Aarushi Talwar and her family help Hemraj, the police indicated on Sunday after questioning Nupur Talwar, the mother of the slain girl.

The police conducted searches at Noida's Sector 25 residence of the Talwars on Sunday morning and confiscated the central processing unit of the computer used by 14-year-old Aarushi from the room where she was found murdered on May 16.

Investigators questioned Nupur for about an hour after the searches, two days after her dentist-husband Rajesh was arrested for allegedly killing Aarushi and Hemraj by hitting their heads with a hammer-like object and then slitting their throats using a surgical knife.

"We have confiscated the CPU of Aarushi's computer for further probe. Our cyber experts will analyse the information stored in the computer. We have some more clarity in the case and more arrests are likely," a senior police officer said.

The police are also considering moving the court for conducting a narco-analysis test on Rajesh, the officer said, adding they will seek police remand of the accused. Investigators claimed they had collected "crucial evidence" to link Rajesh to the murders, like the entry of Aarushi's time of death as 2 am by the dentist at the temple in Haridwar where her ashes were immersed. The Talwars had told the police that they found Aarushi's body at 6 am.
