Bangladesh on Thursday condemned the Jaipur serial blasts as a "shameful" act, but said Indian media reports suggesting the involvement of Harkat-ul Jihad-e-Islami outfit based in the country were "hasty".
The terror strike in the pink city was a "mindless and shameful act that deserves condemnation in the strongest terms," the Foreign Affairs Advisor of the interim cabinet, Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, said in a statement.
Referring to reports in Indian media that Bangladesh-based HuJI was involved in the attack, he said they "should not jump to conclusions before thorough investigations are conducted".
The advisor, however, said, "These are terrorists who have done these sordid and heinous deeds, and terrorists have no boundaries".
"Our hearts go out to the families of the victims," he said.
