The Congress party has lashed out at Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia for her comments that Congress chief Sonia Gandhi had visited the state to do politics over the bodies of those who died in the Jaipur serial blasts rather than express sympathy.
Addressing media persons at the party headquarters in New Delhi, Congress spokesman Manish Tewari said, "If this is true, then why did BJP leader LK Advani visit the state a day before Sonia's trip. The Congress chief has been reaching out to the grief-struck people and victims of calamities."
Taking a dig at the Rajasthan chief minister, Tewari claimed that 'after 8 pm there is no CM.' He also said that she had failed to act on warnings issued
by central intelligence agencies on a possible terror attack in Jaipur.
