Cops in Belgaum, Karnataka have picked up a man, who was found in possession of video clips of the 9/11 attack and Kashmir terrorism.
The Belgaum police suspect that he could be part of a sleeper cell in Northern Karnataka.
Thirty two-year-old Liyakath Ali Abdulgani Sayeed, who was working in London in a security agency, returned to Belgaum on March 18 this year after he lost his job. He was living in Belgaum with his wife and two children, who are British nationals.
The Belgaum police, who arrested Sayeed from his house at Mahanteshnagar in Belgaum late on Wednesday evening, made public the arrest only on Thursday.
The cops say that they are probing into the matter and further details are awaited.
