Chiranjeevi's new political office
June 18, 2008 19:10 IST

This building at Road No 48 in the tony Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad is the cynosure of all eyes these days.

Construction work is going on in full swing for the party office of Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi's proposed political party.

On Tuesday, he sent the media into a tizzy when he visited a local Hanuman temple with his wife and son and offered puja (inset). While leaving, a smiling Chiru was besieged by the media, only to be told that he had come to the temple to pray for every body's happiness.

"I came here because Hanumantudu (Hanuman) is my favorite god," he said but refused to tackle any question about his political plans.

Chiranjeevi's family members say that he will launch his party on his birthday on August 22 this year.
