Jaipur blasts accused and suspected militant of Bangladesh-based Harkat ul Jehadi Islamiya, Abdul Rahman alias Mohammad Iqbal, along with another accused, was remanded to three days police custody by a Delhi court on Monday. Rahman was arrested on May 21, was produced after 11 days of police custody before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kanwaljeet Arora, who sent him to custodial interrogation till June 5.
Another accused Nazrul was also sent to police custody for three days. The police had brought Nazrul from Jaipur on transit remand. He was under the judicial custody there since 2006.
The ACMM remanded Nazrul to three days police custody following a brief chamber hearing on the remand applications. The police had allegedly recovered three kilograms of deadly RDX from his possession, eight days after the serial blasts rocked Jaipur claiming 65
