The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which has five members in the Lok Sabha, will soon take a stand on supporting the United Progressive Alliance during the confidence vote, party president Shibu Soren said on Friday.
"Our parliamentary board will meet within a week to decide on the matter," Soren said, when asked whether the party, which is part of the UPA, would support it in case of a trust vote.
"Its their own decision," Soren, who is the chairman of the Jharkhand UPA steering committee, said when asked to comment on the Left's decision to withdraw support from the four-year-old government.
Soren first became a Union Cabinet Minister in May 2004 but had to resign two months later after a court issued a non-bailable warrant against him in the 20-year-old
