RDX and timer were used in the explosion that ripped apart a taxi at Wadi Bunder in central Mazgaon during the November 26 Mumbai terror attack, sources said.
"Samples from the blast tested at forensic science laboratory in Mumbai showed that RDX and timer were used in the explosion," sources said, adding that the explosive used was similar to that used in Vile Parle taxi blast.
The report has been submitted to the police, they said.
The police had last week confirmed use of RDX and timer in the Vile Parle taxi blast.
The explosives, in both the blasts, were kept under the front seat of the two taxis.
