The results of the Assembly polls in five states might be far below her much-touted proclamations over the recent past, yet Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati says she was "quite satisfied with the results".
Addressing a press conference on Monday evening, she claimed, "I am satisfied with the performance of our party in various state Assembly polls."
She said, 'Except for Mizoram, we have gained in each of the four states Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh , Chattisgarh and Delhi where not only our vote share but even the tally of seats has gone up."
According to her, the BSP rose its vote percentage from 3.9. to 8 between the last election in 2003 and now in Rajasthan , where its tally rose from 2 to 6 seats.
