A telephone call threatening that a bomb would be placed at the official residence of Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthandandan received by the police control room in Thiruvananthapuram.
Police traced the source of the call made on Saturday night to a pay-and-use phone box installed near a tuition centre at Maranallur in the suburbs of the city. The owner of the tuition centre was taken into custody but let off in the night after questioning, police sources said.
