Sanjay Dutt challenges conviction in Supreme Court

Actor Sanjay Dutt has filed a petition in the Supreme Court challenging his conviction in the 1993 serial blasts case.

The Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act Court had found Dutt guilty under the Arms Act and sentenced him to six years in prison.

On October 22, Dutt had surrendered before the TADA Court after being out on bail for almost two months. He was taken into custody after being given a copy of his judgment.
