Intelligence reports suggest that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is in Pakistan, that country's former prime minister Benazir Bhutto has said.

"I have heard that he (Dawood) is there. I know that there are intelligence reports stating that he is there," Bhutto told NDTV.

She said if a Pakistan Peoples' Party government came to power it will honour its commitment to India and extradite Dawood Ibrahim, who is allegedly the mastermind behind the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts.

Bhutto said she wanted to convey to the people of India that Pakistan was for peace and a PPP government would act against terror groups including Lashkar-e-Tayiba.
