Concluding the All India Congress Committee meet at Talkatora stadium on Saturday, Sonia Gandhi, chairperson of the United Progressive Alliance, said that she and her son Rahul have no magic wand to solve the problems being faced by the party.

"I and Rahul have no magic wand and whatever would be achieved would be done with the help of the Congressmen," she said amidist thunderous applause from the audience, who had turned up in large numbers to hear the Congres chief's speech.

Gandhi's
speech was short and to the point. She referred to the amendments carried out by the party and said that the youth in the party would decide the future course of action.

"History tells us that the youth of any nation always play a historic role in giving a new direction to their nation," she said. She apologised to the media for the inconvience caused to them by the SPG officials. " I am happy that the matter was amicably resolved," she said.
