The furore in Parliament over Nandigram killings in West Bengal failed to subside for the third day on Friday with an unrelenting opposition disrupting proceedings in both Houses, dubbing the Communist Party of India-Marxist led government and the Centre as "anti-farmer."

Like Thursday, both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till noon on Friday within minutes of their assembling as opposition and ruling party members clashed over the issue.

Later, the Lower House was adjourned till 1530 hours and the Upper House till 1430 hours.

Despite storming of the well by the opposition in the Lok Sabha, Finance Minister P Chidambaram replied to the discussion on the General Budget in the din.

The House passed vote on account for 2007-08 amid thumping of desks by treasury benches.

As soon as the Lok Sabha met for the day, Bharatiya Janata Party members rushed to the well demanding dismissal of the West Bengal government.

Congress and Left members, on the other hand, sought to raise the issue of killing of policemen by Naxalites in BJP-ruled Chhattisgarh.

Similar scenes were witnessed in Rajya Sabha where Dinesh Trivedi (Trinamool Congress) sought to know status of the notice given by him on the killing of farmers in Nandigram.
