"The SAD and BJP are united and there are no differences between us whatsoever and as far as the appointment of deputy chief ministership we would sort out the matter in a mutual consultations and not through the media," he said.
He declared that there was no enmity between him and captain Amarinder Singh, former chief minister of the state. "The people have broken his pride. The chapter between him and myself stands closed. The people of the state have broken his ego. Being elder Captain Amarinder Singh would continue to get the same respect, which he deserves. Though
I led the campaign in the state on behalf of the party but the credit for the victory must go to our party leadership. I am merely a soldier," he said.
