Bollywood film financier Bharat Shah has filed a complaint claiming that he had received threatening calls from a Dubai-based person, police said on Tuesday.
Shah filed the complaint on Monday evening at south Mumbai's
Malabar Hill police station and named some persons in it, they said.
A senior Crime Branch official has ruled out the involvement of the underworld in the threats, saying the calls were believed to be the outcome of some property dispute.
