When Clinton's, Obama's paths crossed

March 05, 2007 19:30 IST

US Democratic Presidential hopefuls Hillary Clinton (4th from right), with her husband former US President Bill Clinton (3rd from right), and Barack Obama (4th from left) in a street in Selma, Alabama, on March 4 while recreating a peaceful voting rights march that was violently repressed in 1965.

Obama and Clinton also took to separate church pulpits using the civil rights commemoration to battle for support among the country's crucial black electorate.

It was the first time in their campaigns that they have appeared together.
