Four members of a family drowned when their boat capsized in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh, police said on Saturday.
Seven members of the family were boating in a river near Chhui Khadan village, about 110 km from Raipur, on Friday evening when the boat capsized, police said.
While three persons were rescued, four drowned, including three women, they said.
A case was registered against the boatman for causing death by negligence, police said.
