Investigators have dug up 30 more bones from near the residence of businessman Moninder Singh Pandher, an accused in the ghastly serial killing of children and women.

Moninder Singh Pandher and Surendra Koli were remanded to 14 days' CBI custody on Thursday.

A team from the Forensic Science Laboratory in Agra, which scanned the infamous D-5, Sector 31 residence of Pandher and the area around it over the last few days, found 30 more bones, a police official said.

There were no skulls among the fresh skeletal finds, he said.

The bones were sent for post-mortem on Tuesday and the skeletal remains were then sent for forensic tests.

A preliminary post-mortem report said there were no torso bones among the remains, he said.

Meanwhile a bone, found by a villager, became the centre of attention in Nithari village in this industrial township on Thursday. It was found lying near a drain outside Pandher's D-5 residence.

But no one was sure whether it belonged to a human being or an animal. Police had, on December 29, recovered 17 skulls and other human remains from a drain behind Pandher's residence, unearthing the serial killing of children and woman allegedly by him and domestic help Koli.
