New Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Satyabrata Pal on Tuesday presented his credentials to President Pervez Musharraf and interacted with him on the improving relations between the two countries.
"It was a warm and cordial meeting lasting about ten minutes during which the President conveyed his good wishes for my fruitful tenure in Islamabad," Pal said after his brief meeting with Musharraf.
Pal, who succeeded Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon, was among the seven new envoys of
different countries who presented their credentials separately at a colourful ceremony at the Presidential office in Islamabad.
