Dense fog continued to keep New Delhi in its tight clutch for the second day in a row.

Passengers were left stranded as flights and rail traffic were disrupted.

Delhi woke up to another biting cold morning with fog causing visibility to dip to around 200 metres, the Met Department said.

Even though the minimum temperature in the morning was two notches higher than the normal at 8.6º  Celsius, the presence of clouds failed to bring any relief from the chilly weather.

All flights except the CAT III B enabled Indian flights had to be either rescheduled or canceled due to the foggy conditions, airport sources said.

The minimum temperature is expected to remain around 8º Celsius and the maximum may go up to 14.6º Celsius, the weather office said.
